Diana Lys is one of Scandinavia’s leading manufacturers of stearin and paraffin candles. We have two factories in Denmark:

• The factory in Hoejslev, where we primarily produce Nordic Swan Ecolabelled taper candles.
• The factory in Hald, where we produce paraffin pillar candles, among other things, and print designs on candles.

In addition, we have a close collaboration with Diana Sveces in Latvia, where production includes a wide range of products – from handcrafted candles to pressed paraffin candles and printed designs on candles.

We have our own in-house designers, allowing us to quickly adapt and develop designs according to customer wishes and needs.

Diana Lys has always had the ambition and goal to combine clean burning with modern design. The result is a product catalog featuring a wide selection of both classic and modern candles. We follow current trends and offer a large variety of colors and designs.

Today, Diana Lys supplies products to several grocery chains in Denmark and across Scandinavia – either under our own brand or as private label products according to customer preferences.

About us

Although Diana Candles (Diana Sveces – the Latvian name) was established in 2003, the company has more than 40 years of experience in candle production. This knowledge has been inherited from the Danish company Diana Lys, where the founders established a production unit in Latvia.

Today we have approximately 200 employees. With our advantageous location on the coast of the Baltic Sea, we can provide fast deliveries to most European countries. Diana Candles exports products to more than 16 countries – also outside Europe.

We produce not only a wide range of classic candles – such as pillar candles, table candles, tea lights and ball candles – but also candles in many different shapes, for example dwarfs, Christmas trees, geometric figures and much more, as far as the imagination goes. Our customers are always welcome to express their wishes, which we will do our best to fulfil.

We have our own team of designers who continuously develop new motifs and shapes and adapt designs to meet customer requirements. For safety-conscious customers we offer safe-flame LED candles, where the real wax casing makes them look like burning candles. For those with a refined sense of smell, we offer scented candles that suit every taste and create a warm and cosy atmosphere.
