Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Never place burning candles near flammable materials.

Keep burning candles away from children and animals.

Never place burning candles directly on flammable materials.
Always use a candle holder.

Minimum distance between burning candles: 10 cm.

Never place burning candles in a draft.

Never place burning candles near heat sources.

Always place burning candles in an upright position.

The wick must be no longer than 1 cm.

Never blow out the flame.
Always use a candle snuffer.

Always keep the candle free of flammable materials, such as matches, lacquer, print, wick residues, or similar.

Never move a burning candle.

Always use lanterns with sufficient ventilation.

Remove packaging/labels before use.

Never pour water on a burning candle.

The edge of the candle must be no higher than 1 cm. For pillar candles, it is important to let the candle burn all the way to the edge the first time it is lit, to avoid tunneling.

The glass gets hot.

The label should be sorted as paper waste.

The candle’s plastic wrapping should be sorted as plastic waste.

Candle remnants should be sorted as residual waste.

  • Do not leave burning candles unattended.
  • Candles may produce soot and drip when exposed to drafts.
  • Never place a candle near or on flammable materials.
  • Never place a burning candle near a heat source.
  • Keep candles free of impurities such as matches, lacquer, print, wick residues, and similar flammable materials.
  • Trim the edge of the candle down to a maximum of 1 cm to prevent the candle from burning a tunnel.
